Grapefruit is Impossible is a six-piece band from Victoria, BC playing a fusion of original jazz and hip-hop music with technical instrumentation and uncontrollable enthusiasm. The band’s goal is to have as much fun as possible, and to create an open, unique live show that is impossible to resist. With fantastical songs like “Grandma’s House” and “Strategically Shaved Bears”, G.I.I. will happily show you how exciting and accessible their zesty jazzy-hip-hop music truly is.

T-rav the Transformer (Victoria) connects with Lambsbreath (VanCity) over the breaks, to unleash a fresh producer/vocalist combo. Transformer’s nostalgic west coast beats and his old school flows compliment Lambsbreath's unique vocal style versatility and heartfelt lyrics. The duo blaze through stories of the modern human experience, breaching topics of mental health, anti-capitalism, and cause and effect. Catchy choruses, dynamic rap deliveries and uplifting beats make this duo an enjoyable retrospective musical experience.

Tzadeka makes music that is unpredictable, clever and magnetic. Female-fronted, Experimental-Prairie-Soul/Spoken Word that’s fresh-as-hell!
Tzadeka (TZA-deka) is Maigan van der Giessen, an Edmonton based emcee who has been pushing the boundaries of music since putting out her first tracks with hip hop collective Eshod ibn Wyza (2003. Maigan’s spicy vocals and intricate rhymes blend with long-time producer Marek Czuba’s masterful beat-making to create music that is distinct and fresh; with hints of jazz, punk, politics and the blues.
Forever evolving, Tzadeka recently released her fifth album Cities on Fire (2021)

We are happy to announce that we're back to hosting live music on our stage!!
With the help of FACTOR and Creative BC from Sept 17th we'll be blessed to have some beautiful artists cross our stage again. Shows are Friday and Saturday evenings. Tickets can be purchased online in advance through the Eventbrite link on the Facebook event page. If online ticket purchases don't sell the show out there will be tickets available at the door.
It's at your discretion to wear a mask or not inside. Dancing is a thing again! It can feel cosy in here with a full house and we understand apprehensions as things open back up. We're all navigating this differently as we move back to some sort of semblance of normalcy, we'll strive to accommodate all in the enjoyment of musical performance.
Thanks for you understanding and support, we can't wait to see y'all!!
