Layten Kramer (hailing from Calgary, AB) is a local psychedelic guitarist & songwriter~ Layten has graced our stage before in many forms ~ His ethereal & mesmerizing guitar tones fill the room with texture and we're very excited to welcome him back to the shop~ Think Acid Western from the Pacific Northwest ~

Nylon string poet-crooner Luke Kuplowsky and his gentle voice & beautiful guitar-playing will have you swooning instantaneously~ LUKA’s third full-length album, “What Kind of Animal”, assembles a collection of songs in a live session that refines and distills the unique voice of Canadian singer-songwriter Luke Kuplowsky. While his 2016 release “Summon Up A Monkey King” developed a playful and deadpan lyrical voice through Jonathan Richman-esque R&B and doo-wop, “What Kind of Animal” situates this voice in a sonic whirlwind of patient stillness and careening noise.

Elan Noon is the songwriting venture of Victoria artist Keenan Mittag-Degala (a member of Loving & Jons) ~ Threading elements of folk, jazz, and classical music into eccentric pop ballads, Noon weaves a tangled web of self-disclosure. Earlier in 2018, their debut album 'Have a Spirit Filled' was released on cassette by Field Mates Records and has been on regular rotation for 2018 and 2019 here at the shop~ We are very excited to welcome them back ~
Both Layten Kramer and LUKA have brand new albums in-store coming out in 2020~!!
