Briars Haven (Vancouver Island, BC)

Briars Haven are a Celtic folk duo hailing from Victoria, BC, featuring Finn Letourneau on fiddle, vocals, and tap dancing, and Gabriel Pinchbeck on guitar and vocals. Finn started her musical journey at a young age, beginning with classical violin and voice. She now paints musical pictures through folk melodies, dance, and vocals. Gabriel has always been a multi-instrumentalist, taking up the guitar, cello, bass, and drums, and allowing his Celtic lineage to inspire his music.

Since their first musical ventures together, Briars Haven have played at various shows around BC, and most recently, completed a cross Canada trip that included intimate shows in Montreal and Winnipeg. Briars Haven will transport you to a quiet grove in a forest, speckled with sun, interwoven with melodic fiddle, and the intricate strum of guitar.

Performing songs on the guitar and banjo, Dan Belgue is a folk musician found somewhere in the sonic fringes. Dan's distinct style and songwriting sensibility comes from a love of traditional music and old-time songwriting, combined with a desire to create, experiment, and evolve the tradition.

Dan has released several collections of original music, and has performed across Canada multiple times, from busking to bars, cafes to festivals, trains to boats, and countless living rooms and kitchens. Let's welcome him back from an East Coast tour~

Finley Rose is the solo project of Finn Letourneau (of Miss Magpie and Briars Haven)~ They will be warming up the room with a unique solo set of originals with an old-time aesthetic~
