Within the crashing waves of the West coast, and the breeze that tosses through the pines is where Maverick Cinema finds their bliss. It is a fine line between the whispering summer wind, and the roaring winter rain that voice the aspects of their sound. Influenced heavily by bands like Bon Iver, City and Colour, Death Cab For Cutie, and The Head and The Heart, they also share many similarities between Victorias Morning Show, and Towers and Trees.

Stel is a brother and sister duo based out of Victoria BC. Drawing influence from artists like Ben Howard, Of Monsters and Men, and City and Colour. Their honest lyrics are backed by intricate and creative instrumentation. Since beginning their career in music as Stel in 2015, they have toured across BC, AB, and SK, as well as recording their first EP titled “Think Aloud.”
